The DOG Days of Summer
Once again a hot summer is here in northern Virginia.  Last week one of our players, Joe Hartsoe, became dizzy from the heat.  I understand Dick Kelley suffered the same fate the same day.  It is VERY important that players drink considerable amount of fluids, ie. water, gatorade, powerade, etc. to compensate for the loss of liquids during our doubleheaders.  Let's keep having fun while playing our games, win or lose, while maintaining good health.  Just another reminder, because it does happen here!
